Takata airbags are high-performance, exceeding standards defined by regulations in India, as well as the stringent requirements of vehicle manufacturers. They manufacture airbags for both vehicle drivers and passengers, curtain airbags, knee airbags and motorcycle airbags. Takata was the first company in the world to begin mass-producing airbags for motorcycles. These are installed on the rear of the gasoline tank, and inflate between the handlebar and the rider to help absorb energy and reduce injuries from impact with the vehicle and road.
