Engine Analyser

Neptune Equipment offers engine analysers for internal combustion engines. Models AP 8425 and AP 8700 are totally independent diagnostic tools for all types of two stroke/four stroke spark ignition engines. They are capable of measuring apart from the normal engine parameters, ignition advance measurements at various engine speeds, using the in-buiIt advance xenon timing light. The decision whether the CB point condition is good or bad is not left to the whims of the operator but is finely and precisely shown on the display as good or bad and printed on the in-built 20 column printer which is provided as a standard accessory on both the analysers. The most important feature of the equipment is the automatic cylinder power balance which helps to determine the defects in individual cylinders. The all-function oscilloscope of AP 8700 displays ignition primary, ignition secondary and alternator voltage output patterns. Both the units are available on convenient trolleys and can be operated on 12 V vehicle battery.
