Engine Blocks, Air/Water Cooled

Guneet Auto Industries is a manufacturer of cast iron single cylinder air-cooled finned and water-cooled blocks for two-stroke engines, diesel engines, compressors, generator sets, oil engines, marine engines as well as stationary engines. The company manufactures the engine blocks at a well-equipped manufacturing infrastructure that includes a foundry, automatic shell moulding and core shooter machines, machine shop, honing centre, and an inspection centre. The manufacturing infrastructure of the company also comprises a stringent quality control set up. The blocks are thus dimensional tested, and metallurgical and chemical composition are maintained to achieve ASTM with G-4000 Grade as per the ISO norms. The hardness of the engine blocks varies from 210/240 BHN. The blocks are supplied with bore cross honed and plateau honed on a fully automatic hydraulic expansion honing machines, which avoids frictional losses by maintaining an oil film between the cylinder and the piston (oil retention). This helps to reduce oil consumption and increase the life of the cylinder block.
