Yuchai makes diesel engines for buses and trucks, DG sets, marine applications, construction machinery, etc. The power of the engines ranges from 40 kW to 250 kW. The company also makes DG sets of capacities 40 kW to 250 kW. It has a market share of 80% for bus engines and 20% for truck engines in China and has substantial market share in other application segments as well. They have the capacity to make 3,50,000 engines a year.
