Fifth Wheel Coupling

RSB Transmissions India is part of the RSB Group. The company manufactures automobile components and sub-assemblies. Catering mainly to commercial vehicle manufacturers, the company, having six manufacturing facilities in India, and one in USA, offers fifth wheel coupling. On par with fifth wheel couplings offered by European companies, the one offered by RSB Group was designed by employing the latest design software and FEA techniques.

The fifth wheel couplings have been safeguarded by double locking system, and have been successfully tested over 14 lakh cycles by ARAI. They are made from micro-alloy raw material and heat treated. The contact area has been optimized in order to enhance performance. Also, special rubber bushings are installed for impact loading. Specifications include: 2" 15KN D-valve, 2" as per ISO standards king pin, trailer axle 12T, and 12 mm/14 mm, 150/150 sq 1840/1950 mm track width.
