The turbocharger business unit of ABB in India provides the entire spectrum of ABB turbocharging original parts and original service – turbocharger maintenance, repairs and overhauls, reconditioning of bearings and pumps, retrofitting consultancy and technical support services. Besides this, the company also manufactures a selected range of turbochargers. In addition to Indian operations, the company is also responsible for original parts and original service for customers in Nepal, the Maldives, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The wide network of ABB Turbocharging service stations spread across Indian territory ensures prompt and efficient world-standard aftermarket care for customers. Presently, the company is engaged in manufacturing VTC304 and TPR61 turbochargers as well as components of EMD turbochargers for Indian Railways. It has supplied more than 3000 turbochargers to Indian Railways and the numbers are increasing every year. The company also exports turbocharger components to the main works of ABB Turbo Systems Ltd, in Baden, Switzerland.
