Seat Frames

Progressive Engineering & Automation is a Bharat Seats venture. The company manufactures seat frames for seats of passenger cars. Catering to the OE market, the company makes various types of seat frames for passenger cars; with or without foldable armrest frames, etc. To fabricate various types of seat frames, the company has invested in a well-equipped manufacturing infrastructure at Markal near Pune. The infrastructure includes a powder coating facility, press shop, tube bending machine set-up, and spot, or projection welding facility. The company also has the infrastructure to develop new products, implement new projects, and a testing facility. The seat frames made by the company are supplied to tier suppliers for further work including the fitting of springs, and stitching of cushions.
