Rapid Prototyping

ACTech GmbH designs and produces casting prototypes and small batches for clients from industries like automotive, auto components, aerospace, and machine and plant manufacturers. For the automotive industry and automotive suppliers, the company offers sand and investment castings using rapid prototyping. It also manufactures metal castings in small batch quantities. The castings are produced in aluminium, iron and steel alloys, and include products like exhaust manifold, cylinder head, crankcase, crankshaft, turbine inlet housing, intake manifold, instrument panel, and differential carrier. An ISO/TS 16949: 2002 and EN ISO 14001: 1996 certified company, ACTech has invested in a well equipped infrastructure. Delivering qualitative products to its clients, the casting prototypes are available in a few days by using 3D CAD data and technologies, which work without a pattern. No pattern adjustments means no investments in tools. With quickest possible availability of prototypes, ACTech offers batch production properties. This ensures protos that are reliable in the test. The crankcase for example, offered as part of a small batch production, is made from EN AC-ISi 12(Cu) material, with dimension of 430 x 280 x 200 mm.
