Pneumatic Wind Shield Wiper

Omicron Engineers offers Ryder pneumatic windshield wiper specially designed for buses, trucks and other heavy vehicles having their own compressor air supply. Offering least wear, this small and compact unit is made of die-cast aluminium motor body, piston, robust rack assembly and O ring seals for maximum sealing. The unit's working pressure range is 2.5 kgf/cm2 - 10 kgf/cm2. Free air consumption is 20 1/min at 60 strokes/minute. For arm length of 20"and 15", the sweep angles are 75? and 105?, respectively. The arm assembly is directly connected to the pneumatic motor (cantilever type arms are not suitable). The switching and wiper speed control knob with a special valve can be easily mounted on dashboard/side frame. Pushing the central button of knob brings wiper arm automatically to the parking position. Complete kit having a 3-way connector and suitable nylon pipes to take air connection from dashboard pressure gauge is supplied along with the wiper. Being pneumatically operated, there is no danger of wiper motor burning out due to stalling unlike usual electrically operated wipers. Existing wipers can be replaced by Ryder pneumatic wipers. It can be profitably used by large state bus transport undertakings, truck operators, auto body builders, automobile manufacturers, and truck mechanics for the use of their customers.
