Samkrg Pistons and Rings is a manufacturer of a wide array of engineered pistons, piston pins, piston rings and circlips for automotive markets. Finding application in two wheelers, passenger vehicles, tractors, commercial vehicles, and stationary engines, the technological and research capability of the company has enabled it to engage in the manufacture advanced products that are capable of enduring higher thermal and mechanical loads, which is critical to engines being more powerful, efficient, and less polluting. While the pistons are available with tin plating, graphite, molykote screen-printing, and hard anodising, the rings are available with gas nitriding, ferro coating, hard chrome plating, magnesium, phosphate, and power vapour deposition. The products are made at a well-equipped manufacturing infrastructure at Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam, with compliance to ISO/TS: 16949, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 quality systems. The infrastructure also has compliance to ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 system. In the OEM and aftermarket, the company caters to clients like Honda, Bajaj Auto, TVS Motors, Piaggio Vehicles, Kirloskar, Mahindra 2 Wheelers, Tata Motors, Honda power Products, Hero Motors, Force Motors, Lombardini India, Greaves, and others. Close to 25% of the company's production is exported to advanced markets.
