India Pistons is an Amalgamations Group company. It specialises in the manufacture of pistons, piston rings, gudgeon pins, circlips and cylinder liners. The company also offers filters, crankshafts, gaskets, engine valves, camshafts and differential gears under the IPL Power Pak brand. The products are made at the company’s well-equipped manufacturing infrastructure with high emphasis on quality. An ISO/TS 16949 certified company, India Pistons practices TQM, TPM, CANDO and lean manufacturing techniques. Catering to clients of the company include Hyundai Motor Company, Maruti, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Eicher Motors, Simpsons & Co, TAFE, Mahindra & Mahindra, Greaves, Kirloskar Oil Engines, Hindustan Motors, and Indian Railways. It also caters to the replacement market. The pistons offered by the India Pistons measure 150 mm to 250 mm in diameter. They are gravity die-cast, forged, Ni-resist and dual Ni-resist. Conventional composite pistons (a forged steel crown with forged aluminium skirt) and large single piece aluminium pistons are offered too.
