Henkel Teroson India is a manufacturer of structural adhesives, sealants, NVH pillar parts as well as glazing adhesives for bonding of windscreens supplying to every major original equipment manufacturers in the country. A joint venture between Henkel KGaA, Germany and Anand Group, India, Henkel Teroson India also has a technical license agreement with Sunrise MSI Corporation, Japan. Having introduced for the first time in India and second time globally HDF application in the Mahindra Quanto, the company offered NVH pillar parts find application in vehicle pillars and doors. They help improve the NVH performance, and are lighter than a traditional metal reinforcement. Traditionally applied in an interior cavity of the vehicle for structural reinforcement, they can be used to reinforce frame rails, body cavities or body panels. Bringing about acoustic improvement, the company also offers expandable cavity seals based on EVA or EPDM. These preformed parts work on a noise absorption principle that blocks the passage of airborne noise in the hollow cavities of the vehicle.
