Balkrishna Tyres is a manufacturer of bias ply pneumatic tyres. The company exports over 70 per cent of its products, but is now focusing on the domestic market. It has introduced an exclusive range of industrial tyres. Tyres for rear wheels of industrial tractors are available in two types. Type R-1 has traction pattern, suitably designed for on- and off-the-road use. These are engineered to provide excellent traction to drive wheels. It is ideally suited for industrial/construction applications. Type R-3 is a tyre with a flat and wide footprint. The tread is specially designed to give minimum ground disturbance. This is ideal for use on road construction equipment and other industrial uses as well. The company is the sole manufacturer of R-3 type of tyres in the country.
