Helicoil Thread Inserts

Helicoil thread inserts create high strength threads in low strength materials. These are stainless steel thread inserts formed into elastic spirals in proven quality from wire with rhombic profile, which gets installed into low strength material of aluminium, zinc, magnesium alloy etc. These thread inserts have high wear resistance, low thread friction with small tolerance, high surface quality as well as corrosion and heat resistance. Helicoil ensures high strength thread transferring forces from flank to flank in holding thread. Wherever low strength materials (aluminium, aluminium magnesium alloys and fibre reinforced plastics) are used, Helicoil Plus is indispensable for thread reinforcement. Helicoil is suitable for economical and permanent repair of damaged thread.
