Automotive Toughened Glass

Hindustan Glass Works, established in 1958, is a manufacturer of automotive glass. The company makes toughened/laminated automotive glass under the Safex brand name. While the laminated safety glass is used for windscreen application, the toughened safety glass is used for doors and backlight applications. Available in crystal clear and tinted varieties, this is used by many Indian automakers like Piaggio, Ashok Leyland, HM, Scooters India, Eicher, and others. The automotive glass also finds its way to various replacement markets. Also used for defense, railways, bus body and off-highway equipment applications, the glass is made at the company's well equipped manufacturing infrastructure. Also manufacturing tempered glass, insulating glass, heat strengthened glass, bent tempered glass, bullet resistance glass, automatic glass, fire and impact resistance glass.
