Pentamech, a company active in the engineering industry since 16 years, has pioneered designing and manufacturing of jigs/fixtures. It later added automotive component machining to the mainstream activities and it has now become a major activity. The company has created good will amongst its customers by supplying machined components right on time, coupled with firm control on the quality requirements stated by them. The company has successfully handled high volume components to the peak production levels of around 1,00,000 components month. For example guide gear shift, rotor oil filter, etc. To meet quality requirements the company has quality assurance facility like 2D co-ordinate measuring, surface tester, etc., and has planned for CMM. Essential facilities like foundry, CMM, plating, powder coating and heat treatment are available in the vicinity. The company was certified for ISO 9001: 2000 quality management system and is implementing ISO/TS 16949. The quality management system documentation is already released and practiced.
