Water De-Aeration System

Centec RRR Systems & Sensors Pvt Ltd offers a Water De-Aeration System, DGS. This is a modular water de-aeration system based on membrane contactors. The skid is designed to give low running costs compared to other methods due to the high efficiency of the membrane contactors. Very low residual oxygen values are achieved with small energy and purge gas (CO2 or N2) consumption. Easy upgradation of capacity by adding contractors, fully automatic and maintenance-free operation, short run up time, variable capacity range and a small foot print, are the important advantages achieved due to the membrane contractors. The DGS system is a modularly constructed water de-aeration skid. Due to highly efficient contactors, so called hydrophobic hollow fibre membranes, a fast exchange of gas out of the water is possible. The water is flowing along the outer side of the hollow fibre by the cross-flow principle. Through the inner side of the hollow fibre purge gas (CO2 or N2) is flowing at low pressure and sucked out by a vacuum pump. Due to this, the partial pressure of the oxygen inside the hollow fibre is decreased almost to zero. The partial pressure difference between both sides, forces the oxygen to percolate. The membrane material is hydro-phobic polypropylene which can be passed only by gases. Thousands of hollow fibres bound together form a contactor. The high surface area compared to the small volume is the main reason for the high efficiency and low running costs. Depending on required residual oxygen values and maximum capacity, the number of contactors is calculated and accordingly designed. An optional remote access service kit allows software updating and trouble shooting within a few hours.
