Konark Filters has developed and exported to Australia a unique STP sludge dewatering system. The company is engaged in providing innovative separation technologies and systems. Pollution control and sludge dewatering is one of their core competence areas. Last year an environment solution provider of Australia approached it with a unique sludge dewatering requirement. The company puts its thinking cap on and conceptualised an innovative process. It was highly appreciated by the Australian consultant as being the best system suited to their conditions and a parallel of which is not available anywhere else globally. A formal PO followed and the system was built with full automation and complete self motivated inputs from KFPL. The finished system was inspected by the Australian and German executives at KFPL works in Pune recently. They were very appreciative of the machine, workmanship, finishing and overall working of the system, finding it fully suitable for display at any international exhibition. The ma
