Effluent Treatment Systems & Recycling Systems

Polutech Ltd offers Effluent Treatment Plants & Sewage Treatment Plant for various industries with Aerobic treatment [Conventional & MBR technologies] & anaerobic treatment systems Polutech also offers Recycling System like Ultrafiltration systems & Reverse Osmosis systems. It is a process of removal of salt from the treated effluent using reverse osmosis systems. Reverse osmosis is the finest filtration, capable of even filtering out of salt from the water. Operating principle: First the input water is pumped at a higher pressure through a semi-permeable membrane, which allows passage of only pure water and filter out all other contaminants including salt. The unit employs pre-treatment and softening of the treated effluent followed by an Ultrafiltration and nano-filtration units before it is treated in the reverse osmosis unit. Approximately 75% of the input water is recovered at a quality equivalent to the normal packaged drinking water, which is used completely in the tannery process. The above process further enables the purification of the reject water from the RO system and its subsequent use in soaking process of the tannery, virtually achieving over 90% recovery of the input water. The remaining reject water and the saline liquor from the soaking process is evaporated in an improvised evaporation system and thus achieving zero discharge of wastewater. The evaporated matter is collected and disposed in a secured storage area.
