The EVAC MBR advanced membrane bioreactor wastewater treatment plant is suitable for all vessel types. The MBR plant handles all black (sewage) and grey waters from galleys, sinks, showers and laundry. All Evac MBR units are certified according to IMO Marpol MEPC.159 (55) and according to latest MEPC.227 (64) with nutrient removal, thus fulfilling the amendments to the Marpol Annex IV as in MEPC.200(62) for passenger ships in restricted areas, e.g., Baltic Sea. The Evac MBR units also fulfil the requirements of the Rhine river rules. Additionally, EVAC can offer USCG certified MBR units.
