U S Steriles offers Boiler Water Treatment Chemical. Gramicid-22 is Filming Amine based Three in One chemical. It Works as a sludge conditioner, scale inhibitor,oxygen scavenger & maintains pH for boiler water.It is used for Medium Pressure Boilers and Low Pressure Boilers. Gramicid-22 is a combination of Polyamine film forming compound, Neutralizing Amine, Alkalizing Amine, Complexing agent, Oxygen Scavenger & Dispersing Agent.It forms strong barriers of Aliphatic Fatty Amine on ferrous & non-ferrous amine. Gramicid -22 is a combination of Neutralizing Amine, distributed broadly throughout the Boiler-Turbine-Condensates system & it protects the system against low pH & Carbonic acid attack.It prevents the contact of metal surface with Oxygen, Carbon Di- oxide, Corrosion products & scale making ion. It contains all volatile compounds which permit to operate the boiler water on high COC. Thus it helps to reduce the quantity of blow down of drum water & save energy. Its Non sticky Amine film barrier on wetted place of turbine blade help to prevent the glassy Silica deposit on turbine blades.
