Respirable Dust Sampler

Envirotech Instruments has introduced the Respirable Dust Sampler, Model APM 460, based on CSIR NEERI know how of APM 451. The system was upgraded to APM 460 in 1997. The APM 460 sampler uses an improved cyclone with sharper cut-off (D50 at 10 microns) to separate the coarser particulates from the air stream before filtering it on the glass micro fibre filter. By using the APM 460, measurement of respirable particulate matter can be done accurately and TSPM can also be assessed by collection of dust retained in the cyclone cup. The company is a leading Indian manufacturer of air pollution monitoring instruments. Its current product range includes stack sampling systems, high volume samplers, PM 10 samplers, weather monitors and personal samplers. It has a dominant share of the Indian market with customers ranging from State Pollution Control Boards, leading environmental consultants and several hundred private and public sector industries spread all over the country.
