Pleated Dust Collection Bag

Pleated dust collection bags are widely used in the field of dust collection system. These are made of 100% polyester media with different coatings on it, as per requirement of applications. By pleating in different depths and height, a desired filtration area is obtained. Since this media offers surface filtration, pleated bags offer very high throughputs and lower pressure drop across the filter compared to any conventional tube type filter bags. Construction: pleated spun bonded filter media is placed in a cylindrical configuration with support of polypropylene/GI support and encapsulated with polyurethane or metal end caps to form a pleated dust collection bags. The end caps are configured to mount as clean side or dirt side fitment. In case of metal caps these bags are supported with soft sponge rubber sealing to ensure positive sealing of filter while fitment. Technical specifications: filter media – spun bonded polyester media; coating – PTFE coating for oil and moisture removal, aluminium coating for antistatic application; sizes – Ø 160 x 500 mm long, Ø 160 x 1000 mm long, and Ø 160 x 2000 mm long; customised sizes on special request; filtration area – 0.96 m² to 5.5 m²; and applications: pharmaceuticals, steel and power, powder coating, shoot blasting, cement, chemicals, metals and minerals, paints and pigments.
