Dust Suppression System

Mumbai-based TPS Manufacturing & Construction Company offers "Dry Fog" dust control system in collaboration with Turbosonic Inc, Canada. The system - an effective alternative to conventional de-dusting/bag house, has following advantages: initial capital costs averages 60-65% of the total installation cost of bag house filter systems; no significant modification is required in existing plants for installation, the system can be installed in 40% of the time required for conventional bag house system; nozzles are self-cleaning and maintenance costs are low, no costly wetting agents and their controls are required, and O&M costs are much lower than bag house system or "water + chemical spray system"; Dry Fog systems are very well suited for suppressing dust on materials that are hydrophilic in nature and prone to combustion; control breathable fugitive dust (1 to 10 microns) within State Pollution Control Boards Limits; recovery of valuable material without any secondary dust disposal problems as in bag house system.; and dry belt operation, water addition is as 0.1% of the weight of material being handled. No jamming/build up in chutes, screens, and crushers thus enhancing conveying system life (as against water + chemical sprays system).
