Air Filter Precleaners

Enginaire pre-cleaners are designed to remove contaminants from air. These remove up to 99.9% of larger airborne particles. The advantage of removing the contaminants are extended filter life, improved fuel economy and extended engine life. Turbocharger, blower, cylinder liners, piston rings, and engine oil fail because of dirty air. The Enginaire precleaner is a precision manufactured product and full range of models are available to fit most engines/compressors. Working principle: free engine intake air powers the Enginaire pre cleaner. Incoming air is drawn through the angled louver plates which direct the intake air to turn the rotor which is mounted on dual precision ground heavy duty bearings. The centrifugal force caused by the spinning motion of the rotor separates the contaminants from the air, throwing them to the inner perimeter of the cover and expelling them out through the discharge port. The clean dry air is drawn into the plenum chamber and then into the engine.
