Vane Motor Reversible (Pneumatic)

San Air Tools have now added a vane motor to their existing range of air motors. The air motor shown in the photograph gener- ates a maximum speed of 3,000 RPM at 6 kg/cm2 air pressure and can be varied from 300 to 3,000 RPM with an air control valve at the inlet port. It features a foot mounting and can be mounted horizontally or vertically. An exhaust muffler for silent opera- tion is provided. Its main features are variable speed, flexibil- ity in mounting and instant reversing. Its applications are stir- ring or mixing in flame proof areas, conveyor drives, pump drives and as prime movers for turntables. The shaft diameter of the motor is 12.5O, weight 5.2 kg, air inlet 1/4"BSP, HP developed / 2 at 6 kg/cm is 1.5.
