Oswal Electrical offers Squirrel Cage Induction Motors, TEFC. It is single phase. It is as per international standards. It ensures high performance. Features: robust in construction; heavy-duty silver contacts of centrifugal switch; dynamically balanced aluminium die cast rotor; vacuum impregnated stator winding; deep groove ball bearing of reputed brand; designed for wide voltage fluctuations; and less operational and maintenance cost. Specifications: 0.16-5 HP; speed - 1440/ 2880 RPM; frame size - 80/ 132 M; and insulation - B. Types: a) Capacitor start single-phase motors ensures efficient and reliable operation for years. Motors up to 2 HP in 1440 RPM are as per international standards; b) Capacitor start induction run motor - a capacitor is inserted in series with main winding to reduce the inductive reactance to a low value. An electrolytic capacitor of large value is used for short time rating. It get switched Off as the motor attains a certain value of full loads speed. It is suitable for load or higher inertia giving high starting torque; c) Capacitor start capacitor run - these motors have characteristics similar to those capacitor start induction run-motors but are more applicable where a greater degree of quietness of a higher efficiency and power factor are desirable; d) Capacitor start and run - these motor are for use where low starting torques are acceptable. They are also generally quieter than capacitor-start induction run motors. Motors up to 3 HP are fitted with thermal over load protector. Applications: flour mills; wet rice grinder; buffing, polishing and drilling machines; industrial sewing machines; diamond stone cutters and polishers; commercial juicers, etc. Other range of motors includes: standard motor, flange mounted motor, foot cum flange-mounted motors, cooling tower motors and gear motors.
