Single-phase motor

Kirloskar Brothers Limited manufactures single-phase motors (DYNA) with deep cast fins ensuring better heat dissipation. The motor has four cornered heavy duty CI motor body with better dampening characteristics. The heavy-duty anti-friction deep grooved ball bearings ensure smooth and longer operation. The large size terminal box facilitates housing of capacitor and easy connection of cables. Terminal board is made of non-hygroscopic electrical grade bakelite. Electrical system of these motors conforms to IS 13730 standards. These motors perform with good efficiency under varied load conditions. They incorporate rotor made of high conductivity aluminium and centrifugal switch featuring noble metal contacts. Better starting torque capability of the motor is another important feature that makes the device to render trouble-free efficient service for a longer period.
