Magtorq Private Limited offers shaft mounted Planetary Helical Gear Motors. These are available in: power rating – 0.18 kW - 45 kW; and speed range – 0.03-12 RPM. Applications: stoker drives/crystallisers/pug mills magma mixers/inter rake carriers/clarifiers. This arrangement is found very convenient as it avoids shaft coupling, bedplate, alignment efforts, etc. Magtorq Private Limited was established in 1989. The promoter’s desire to have a product bearing this brand name was very strong and the search for the same ended up with the decision to make planetary gearboxes. This was based on the findings that the demand for planetary gearboxes was moderate and its advantage over conventional gearboxes promised a good future.
