Crompton Greaves (CG) offers a range of Flame Proof/Hazardous Area Motors. The company was the first in India to introduce flame proof electric motors and increased safety motors for application in hazardous areas with approval from BASEEFA and EECS. These motors have been exhaustively tested and certified by CMRI, DGMS, and CCE enabling use for all applications in hazardous areas in the country. These motors have cast iron frames.
