Intelligent Motion Technology Pvt Ltd offers Linear Servo Motors and Drives. LinMot linear motors are direct electromagnetic drives. The linear motion is generated without wear, with no intermediary mechanical gearboxes, spindles or belts. The motor consists of just two parts: the slider and the stator. The slider is made of neodymium magnets, encased in a high-precision stainless steel tube. The stator contains the motor windings, slider bearings, position encoder, and microprocessor circuitry for monitoring motor performance. LinMot's standard catalogue includes 6 different families of motors, with peak forces of between 8 and 2500 N. All models are available with different stroke lengths and features – over 400 different linear motors altogether. The company is part of Group Intelmac, a marketing organisation for machine tools and manufacturing systems, which also offers industrial automation solutions from 'Concept to Commissioning'. Intelligent Motion Technology was formed to cater to new business line coming up in space technology and micro machining systems, an elite market. The company provides engineering solutions for products such as antenna control system, diamond cutting machines and so on. It is involved with customers from laying down the requirements till system installation and prove out. System engineering and software development is done in-house. This gives more flexibility during development and any additions or modifications can be done at later date to meet customer's requirements.
