High Torque Dc Stepper Motor

Superior Electric of USA, a division of Warner, has achieved new levels of performance with its high energy KM series, brushless compact stepper motor. Utilising latest in design and magnetic technologies, the KM series available in NEMA size 23 and 34 frames, produces double the torque of earlier motors. This results in more torque per frame size and thus enabling the user to reduc size and weight of the motor, increase system performance and reduce cost. The standard resolution is 1.8? per full step, ie, 200 steps/revolution. The motors are available in various winding configurations. Matching full step and micro-steppirg drives are available from SLO-SYN, USA. The motor has rear shaft for encoder mounting. No maintenance is required. Motor can withstand 2 times rated current without demagnetisation. Applications are in: packing machines, calibration and testing, SPMS, printing machines, step and repeat machines, grinding, etc.
