Geared Motors

Mumbai-based Rajendra Electrical Industries Ltd offers geared motors that are manufactured with output ranging from 0.16 HP to 15 HP and speed ranging from 16 RPM to 400 RPM. In the gearbox, helical gear wheels are used. Case carburising of gears ensures practically zero distortion during heat treatment and gear lapping ensures finer high spots removal. These gears with high wear and corrosion resistance produce low gear noise. Taper roller bearings are used in the gearbox for longer life of bearings. Gears are lubricated by splash lubrication of oil. First oil change must be done after operating the unit for 400 hours of operation. Consequent oil changes should be done after every 5000 hours of operation. Normal class of insulation on motor winding is class ?F?. These geared motors correspond to IP-55 enclosure as per IS-4691. The complete series consists of six sizes of gear units each size with three or four motor frames.
