Geared Motors

Shanthi Gears Limit ed offers a range of Geared Motors. These are available in a wide range: 12 sizes; power up to 90 kW; type - mounting - foot & flange. The company was started in the year 1969 as Shanthi Engineering & Trading Co, to manufacture small gears through simple milling process, but in 1972, changed the name to Shanthi Gear Products (P) Limited. Simultaneously, production of helical gearboxes also started in single, double, triple, and quadruple reductions and in various combinations. Hollow shaft gearboxes were also introduced. Solid shafts and hollow shaft bevel helical reduction gearboxes followed suit. Consequently, facilities for manufacturing patterns, centrifugal castings of phosphor bronze rings, ferrous castings, aluminium castings, heat treatment, forgings, fabrications and cutter manufacturing were also set up, all in-house. Today the company is a premium choice for power transmission products.
