Flame Proof (FLP) Motors

Mahanth offers Flame Proof (FLP) Motors. These motors are exclusively designed for safety against accidental ignition or explosions and for continuous flawless operation in explosive or inflammable atmosphere that prevails in petrol and diesel dispensing pumps, chemical factories, petrochemical industries, fertilizer and solvent extraction plants, refineries, liquor bottling plants and paints and varnish works etc. The motors are provided with an in- built thermal overload protection device for added safety.

Constructions:
The motors have a heavy-duty seamless steel pipe stator casing with cast iron end-shields designed to withstand internal explosion. All the rotors are dynamically balanced to minimize vibrations. All the components are hydraulically pressure tested.

Standard FLP motors have class 'F' insulation. These motors are available with solid foot mounting construction. Flange mounting can be offered on request.
These are designed and confirm to flameproof construction as per EN50014 and EN50018 for Gas group II A & II B.
