Electronic Motor Controls For Industrial Use

PCsoft Systems offers energy saving electronic motor controls for AC induction motors used in industrial fans, blowers and pumps. There is a good scope for saving energy in these applications by using electronic inverted based motor controls. Presently, various alternative methods are used with damper or throttling. However, these methods affect the efficiency of the overall system. With electronic motor controls power saving could be achieved without decreasing the efficiency of the system. With this method, power saving could be done up to 50% of the present electrical consumption. The system makes the motor operation very smooth, taking care of starting torque and the inrush current. It reduces maintenance, avoids breakdown and thereby saves on the downtime as well as manpower. With the Advancement in the technology, use of microcontrollers has made the operation easy, user-friendly and very versatile. In addition, features like flexibility of analogue I/O, flying start variable acceleration/deceleration rates and skip frequencies reduces the need for additional components. The different applications could be HVAC system, VOC incinerators, paint booths, oil pipelines, clean rooms, recirculation systems, etc. Electronic motor controls are available from few HP up to 600 HP.
