N M Engineering Industry, established in 1997, is one of the leading manufactures of custom designed induction motors. The machines conform to the following standards: 3-phase ? IS 325: 1996 and single phase ? IS 996: 1976. Construction: body frame, end shields and bearing shields are made out of quality graded grey iron casting; pressure die cast and extruded aluminium body for frame 63 to 80 are also available; pressure die cast aluminium rotor is dynamically balanced for vibration free operation; the stator core is made up of quality silicon steel, which ensures low power consumption and high efficiency; stator winding is constructed with polyester base copper wire impregnated with synthetic resin; double side shielded bearing up to 100 frame, above 100 frame usual ball bearing with lithium grease used; and shaft is made up of En8 material. Range: the motors are available from frame size 63 to 160 M; rating ? 0.18 kW to 11 kW (0.24 HP to 15 HP) for three phase 0.18 kW to 1.5 kW (0.24 HP to 2 HP) for single phase; speed ? 3000, 1500, 1000, 750 and 500 RPM for three phase and 3000, 1500 and 10 00 RPM for single phase; supply ? 415 V, 50 Hz for three phase, 230 V, 50 Hz for single phase; and insulation ? class B (class F on request).
