The 3 phase Electric Motor is available in standard range with the following configurations in 2-pole (3000 rpm synchronous), 4-pole (1500 rpm synchronous), 6-pole (1000 rpm synchronous) and 8-pole (750 rpm synchronous) configuration. Their output ranges from 0.09 to 22 kW. This motor conforms to following IS specifications: IS: 325 (specifications for three phase induction motors), IS: 1231 (dimensions of three phase foot mounted induction motors, IS: 2223 (dimensions of flange mounted AC induction motors) & IS: 8789 (values of performance characteristics for three phase induction motors).
It is used in applications like crane & hoist duty, loom and textile duty, torque motors for winding and stalling duties, diamond polishing low vibration motors, machine tool duty motors and motors with custom required features like mounting, cooling arrangements, special shaft dimensions and materials.
It has robust cast frames and end covers, driving end shaft with tapped center hole and motor enclosures & terminal box with IP 54 degree of protection. This motor is available in foot/flange and face mounting designs. The following special features can be incorporated on request: ±10% voltage variation, ±6% frequency variation, ambient temperatures higher that 45°C, insulation class H and motors with separate cooling arrangement (for inverter duty) IP 54 or 55 protection.
