Direct-Drive Brushless Servomotor

Kollmorgen's BMS-1210 Series low cost, direct drive, brushless servomotor is frameless and can be applied in a wide variety of applications requiring high torque in a compact package. Originally applied in a smart-munitions fin actuator system, the BMS- 1210 utilises a Hall sensor-ring assembly for commutation and eight rare-earth permanent magnets. The motor produces a peak torque of 228 oz-inches and a continuous torque rating of 70.14 oz-inches at stall. Designed for 28 V DC operation, windings are also available to accommodate other voltages.
