D C Motors

Mumbai-based Crompton Greaves manufactures D C motors that are custom-built motors of optimum design with wide range of ratings to select from, for any application/requirement of industry. Lightweight and lower GD sq value enable swift mechanical response to meet frequent reversal. These motors are available in standards IEC34-1, DIN VDE 0530, BS 5000 PART 99 and IS 4722. The DC motors can be selected to meet the requirement of NEMA standard MG1. The shaft centre height and mounting dimensions are generally in line with IEC 72. Facilities to which these motors are useful are design centre equipped with state of art CAD & mechanical automation software facilities; stator fabrication shop; CNC cylindrical grinding machine; 5-tonne dynamic balancing machine; dust-free coil winding shop; rotor assembly shop; final assembly shop; VPI plant and testing facilities. Salient features * Class F insulation with vacuum pressure impregnation for armature winding ensuring high insulation strength.
