Kirloskar Electric offers Cage Induction Motors, Primo and Spectrum Series. It is lightweight, aesthetically appealing, and reliable with the best performance. It is highly engineered to cope up with sudden load variations, longer thermal life, higher altitude and wide voltage variations. Range: ratings available in frames 71 to 315 (2, 4, 6 & 8 pole). Applications: universally suited for applications like pumps, compressors, machine tools, textile machinery, fans, blowers, crushers, material handling cranes, etc. Specifications: output - 0.37 kW to 260 kW; voltage - 415 V+10%; frequency - 50 Hz + 5%; combined variation - +10%, ambient - 50°C; duty - S1; insulation - Class "F"; temperature rise - limited to class B; protection - IP55; and enclosure - IC 411. Features: die cast aluminium body up to 132 frame and CI body up to 315 frame; CI covers for all frames; terminal box on RHS of the motor when viewed from drive end; optimum fan design for better cooling and low noise; foot mounted with single shaft extension; high grade enamel copper wire for stator EC grade die cast rotors; epoxy gel coat treatment on winding overhangs; suitable for flexible direct coupling or belt drives; suitable for DOL starting up to 100 frame and DOL/ Star Delta for 112 to 315 frame; and direction of rotation clockwise looking from drive end.
