AC motors

The Lion brand motors are continuously rated for S1 duty suitable for 415 V ? 6%, 50 Hz ?3%, 3-phase AC supply. The motor performance operating characteristics conform to global standards in all respects. Construction: standard motors with single shaft extension are horizontal foot mounted; motors are provided with Class "B" insulation system (Class "F" can be supplied on request); rotors are specially die cast with rigid construction; each rotor is balanced to ensure very low amplitude vibration low noise level and long bearing life; the stator-stack is assembled under pressure and held rigidly by cleats clamped around the periphery of the stamping; and the two layer chorded windings make for the suppression of harmonics, vibrations and generation of unnecessary heat.
