Low Voltage Motors

Chaitra Engineers offers Low Voltage Slip Ring electric motors ranging from 3.7 kW to 350 kW in Enclosed (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled – IP55) construction. Their Wound closed type motors have the same qualities of their Wound open type motors with additional enclosure construction that makes it very safe to use in dusty environments too. The design also takes care of the cooling and operation under rigorous conditions. Motors comply to IS standards. Specially designed motors are offered with IPSS standards to meet the requirements of Steel Plants. Motors are designed especially for applications with high inertia loads. It has reliable, rugged design and construction. Motors are suitable for starting with external resistance in motor circuit. Applications include Fans, Compressors, Mixing and Rotary Mills, Crushers and Pulverizers.
