H G Shah & Co offers a range of Timing Pulley Drives. A timing pulley drive is superior, best alternative to “V” belt roller chains and gears in an amazing number or applications. This drive is extremely efficient and maintenance free, provides constant speed-positive power transmission, efficiency approaching 98% for the entire life of the drive. The drive belts do-not stretch over a period like “V” belt and roller chain, hence there is not change in speed due to stretch creep or slippage. These drives are available in various Imperial and Metric sizes as well as high torque versions in curvilinear/round tooth profile and parabolic tooth profile. The length of belt gives wider selection of drives for 0.01 HP to 1200 HP and maximum 10,000 RPM to suit industrial mechanical power transmission drive. HG trimming belt drive provides positive, trouble free power transmission high torque applications plus district advantage as under: constant angular velocity, reduced backlash, no backlash freedom from chatters and wide speed range make it practical to synchronise component movement with very high degree of accuracy for CNC machine tools, etc. V-belt drive is 98% efficient when installed and quickly slips to as low as 93% and more as the “V” belts stretch, while timing belt drive maintain this efficiency for the life of the belt which performs a potential energy saving from 10% to 20%. The belts are inherently dimensionally length-stable and need no retensioning. These features provide both low maintenance cost and high-energy efficiency. Unlike chain drives, synchronous belt drive do not lubricant; reduce noise level and vibration; and more speed ratio options are available. These are clean and quieter in operation, lighter in weight, economical drive and long trouble free service.
