SUB-MICRO DRIVE, SCD SERIES

V3 Controls offers Sub-micro Drives, SCD Series. It is very compact. It is available in all standard industrial voltages. It is packaged like a motor starter with the control capabilities of drives, twice the size. It is a DeviceNet ready variable frequency drive. This automation product complies with the ODVA requirements for this standard industrial protocol. Variable frequency AC motor drives ranging from fractional to several hundred HP are also manufactured. General specifications: power range - 0.25 to 25 HP (0.18 to 18.5 kW); supply power - single phase - 208 or 240 V AC, three phase - 208, 240, 400, 480 or 590 V AC; 50 or 60 Hz; it is designed to operate standard poly-phase induction motors rated for 200, 230, 400, 460 or 575 V AC over a speed range from 0 to 240 Hz; and enclosure - IP20 with finger safe terminals. Standard features easy set-up and operation - program and set up the drive three different ways such as from buttons on the front of the drive, the innovative EPM programmer and a PC using free TechLink software and the EPM programmer; motor thermal overload - approved as a motor protection device for single motor applications; control I/ O - 18 isolated terminals provide start/ stop control, 3 programmable logic inputs, 2 programmable digital outputs, 2 analogue outputs and pluggable DeviceNet terminal block; slip compensation - provides approximately 1% speed regulation; current limit - to 180% for 30 seconds with frequency fold-back to prevent tripping; display - highly visible LED; and quiet operation - adjustable carrier frequency to 10 kHz.
