Servo Drive

T&C Technology offers a Servo Drive, UHU P1030. This is a direct replacement for stepper motor drive systems. It is driven by STEP/DIR signals like stepper drives. It is capable of stepping rates up to 200 kHz with high torque and can drive PMDC brushed servomotors up to 2.0 kW at 90 V DC. There is no upper limit to the resolution of the encoder that can be coupled to a servomotor, the limit being decided by the maximum velocity required, encoder resolution and the maximum possible stepping rate of 200 kHz. Proportional, integral, derivative, higher order products, maximum tracking error, maximum torque, motor inertia are user programmed via the tuning software. Applications include CNC machines, SPMs, precision motion and custom applications.
