Microstepping Drivers

The IM Series of micro-stepping drivers includes the IM483, IM804, and IM1007, and was designed using advanced surface mount and 11 ASIC technology to reduce part size. These compact drivers have 14 built-in microstep resolutions, from 400 to 51,200 steps per revolution in binary and decimal that can be changed at any time without resetting the driver. Integrating the IM drivers in applications that use higher step angle motors may allow the user to replace mechanical gearing for increased smoothness and more accurate positioning.
