Mechanical Drive System

The potential of an off-the-shelf mechanical drive system has been extended with the inclusion of a cost efficient servo motor and controller package as options. Originally introduced with belt driven transmission, the mechanical elements have now been learned with a brushless servo motor and digital servo drive/positioner to provide a complete system for a broad range of applications. An optional precision planetary gearhead may also be specified whose speed and torque are matched to the application. The system is available in two sizes. Overall slide and beam length is available to suit the customer's needs, up to 6 m as standard and up to 8 m on application. Short and long carriage plates are standard components.
