General Purpose AC Motor Drives

Delta's VFD-A, VFD-M series general purpose AC motor drives are high-tech products that integrate newly developed electronic circuit and control methods. They use the IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor), a high frequency switching transistor, as driving device to reduce the noise of the motor, enabling a quiet operation. SPWM (Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) improves the motor efficiency and provides a high torque at low speed, reducing thermal loss and electromagnetic interference. The AC motor drives features also include automatic torque boost and auto slip compensation, true soft start, V/F curve adjustable, 8-step operation, S-curve setting, stall prevention, automatic restart for momentary power failure and automatic voltage regulation.
