This latest product from Parker SSD comes in ratings ranging from 0.75-1500 kW. It features new 32-bit control architecture and has function block programming capability, which provides users with an extremely flexible control structure allowing an almost infinite combination of functions to be realised with ease. Each software control block can be freely interconnected to all other blocks to provide any desired action; in some cases alleviating the need of a PLC. The drive communicates with all popular industrial protocols, including Ethernet, ProfiBus, ControlNet, DeviceNet, CANOpen, etc., making it ideally suited to integration into larger systems.
